Recently refurbished, guests at Under Rigg Cottage can enjoy magnificent Lakeland views from the fresh, comfortable living room overlooking Loughrigg Fell.  Walkers and cyclists can open the front door onto relaxing and challenging routes to explore the Fell and beyond, leaving the car behind.

Golf, water sports, horse riding and other outdoor pursuits are all within easy reach, as well as the tranquil Langdale Valley, beautiful Grasmere, Watershead and Rydal Water.  Pretty Ambleside at the head of Lake Windermere is five minutes walk away, offering an abundance of shops, restaurants, bistros and cafes.

Under Rigg Cottage is well equipped with ample cloakroom space and a separate laundry/drying room for clothes and equipment.  The modern kitchen and dining area are ideal for serving hearty breakfasts, and dining on the patio takes in the wonderful panorama of Loughrigg Fell.
